Playoff odds always get people talking when they’re released over the winter. By the team they are in public, the free agents have signed, the trades have been processed and we’re looking for something to argue about occupy our time while waiting for spring training to begin. Usually, you could guess without looking which teams are going to have the best odds at making the postseason before they’re even released, but there are always some surprises. Teams pop up as projection system favorites while others that are darlings on the outside are met with skepticism by our robot overlords.
