Kyle Schwarber's home runs aren't even craziest part of rarefied season for Phillies

The Philadelphia Phillies knew they had to make the most of their potential final year with Kyle Schwarber. The Phillies' designated hitter is in a contract year, and it would be an understatement to say he exceeded expectations. He's now up to 56 home runs on the season, with the Phillies' home run franchise record in his sights, and leads all of Major League Baseball with 132 RBIs.

Schwarber is the fourth player in baseball this season to surpass 50 home runs, along with Cal Raleigh, Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge. He also became the third player and 21st overall to have a four-homer game.
