Designated hitter Kyle Schwarber and shortstop Trea Turner are Silver Slugger finalists in the National League.
Schwarber led the National League in home runs with 56. In the final year of his four-year, $79 million contract with the Phillies, Schwarber slashed .240/.365/.563 with a major league leading 132 runs batted in. Milwaukee’s Christina Yelich and Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers are also Silver Slugger Award nominees at designated hitter.
Turner, the 2025 National League batting champion and the NL’s only qualified hitter to bat .300, finished second behind Luis Arraez in the National League in hits with 179.
