A freshly minted Hall of Famer, he was here but a brief time as a Phillie
Jim Kaat is going to go into the Hall of Fame as a member of the Minnesota Twins. Rightfully so since his most acclaim as a pitcher came while he was in the Twin Cities. All of the Gold Gloves, most of his innings and wins, all in Minnesota.
However, he still does have a connection to Philadelphia. He was here with the Phillies for three seasons, serving as a veteran presence in a rotation that was still learning to win.
