Jesús Luzardo continues strong stretch as Phillies beat Marlins

Phillies pitching coach Caleb Cotham made his way to the mound in the bottom of the sixth inning on Saturday afternoon in Miami at loanDepot Park. Cotham, with the Phillies leading by two runs and David Robertson warming up in the bullpen, wanted to talk to starting pitcher Jesús Luzardo. The left-hander just walked Javier Sanoja to put a pair of runners on first and second base with two outs.

Two pitches after talking to his pitching coach, Luzardo got out of the jam. He got left-handed hitter Troy Johnston to fly out to Harrison Bader in center field.
