Jesús Luzardo was one of the best pitchers in baseball for the first two months of the season. He compiled a 5-0 record to go with a pristine 2.15 ERA across his first 11 starts as a member of the Phillies. He was a huge part of the team finding itself with one of the best records in MLB, as the Phillies were 8-3 in his starts.
His last two starts however, he has decidedly been not that. Luzardo suffered the worst loss of his seven-year career last Saturday when he was demolished to the tune of 12 runs allowed on 12 hits in just 3.
