PHILADELPHIA — Outfielder Johan Rojas had an on-base percentage of just .280 in 71 games for the Phillies this season, and he’s spent the entire final two months of the year in the minor leagues after the club added center fielder Harrison Bader at the trade deadline.
But when the postseason starts next week, the defensive specialist could be in consideration for a roster spot after all. With that in mind, Phillies manager Rob Thomson revealed where Rojas will go to stay prepared.
Rojas will report to a “stay-hot” camp at Lehigh Valley’s Coca-Cola Park, Thomson said Wednesday.
