Has Jordan Romano earned your trust?

Jordan Romano had a nightmare start to the season. The Phillies’ right hander was sporting an unsightly 12.19 ERA and 2.03 WHIP at the end of April after appearing in 12 games. His fastball velocity was down, and he couldn’t locate his slider. Anytime Romano did find the zone, the pitch was getting crushed. He hit what appeared to be rock bottom on April 19th when he entered into an 11-4 game and left with the score 11-10, having allowed 6 runs to the Marlins while collecting only two outs.

Fast forward to yesterday, and Romano extended his scoreless appearance streak to six games and struck out the side in the ninth to secure a 2-1 win.
