Get your game on, go play: Phillies 5, Padres 1

Zack Wheeler is a lock to be a member of the National League All Star team later this month and might even end up starting it. But it feels safe to say that he won’t be the only Phillies starting pitcher on the squad, as Cristopher Sanchez is having an excellent season in his own right. On Wednesday night, Sanchez delivered another exemplary start, pitching seven strong innings, as the Phillies defeated the Padres 5-1.

Neither offense started off hot, as the first ten batters of the game were retired. The Phillies had runners on the corners with one out in the second but couldn’t get them home.
