The Philadelphia Phillies dropped two of three to the scrappy Arizona Diamondbacks on the weekend. It was the Phillies' first series loss since getting swept in Queens in late August, while the D-backs are still clinging to some playoff hope. What did go well, however, was Alec Bohm's scorching-hot return to the lineup.
Bohm had just returned from the 10-day injured list with shoulder inflammation. The Phillies were ready to have their third baseman back, and he sure was ready to show up in their final road trip of the regular season. The Phillies are pushing to maintain a top seed in the NL, and Bohm had quite the weekend to help his team achieve that goal.
