Their struggles would have likely continued on Thursday as they were set to face the best pitcher in baseball in Jacob deGrom. The weather forecast in the Big Apple sided with the Phillies this afternoon as rain postponed the game until June.
The sample size is small but the offense hasn’t been able to replicate the success they had in 2020.
