Chase Utley is being activated from the 15-day D.L. on Friday before the Philadelphia Phillies game against the San Diego Padres.
The Phillies made a pair of roster moves following Thursday’s 10-8 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Outfielder Jordan Danks and right-handed reliever Dalier Hinojosa were sent down to Triple A Lehigh Valley. Left-handed reliever Adam Loewen will have his contract selected from Triple A Lehigh Valley, all that along with bringing Utley back to the Phillies.
Utley went 6 for 11 in three rehab games.
