It’s clear that the Phillies need help in the outfield. The Max Kepler experiment has been a failure, and beyond his lousy season, the Phillies’ have gotten bottom five offensive production from their outfielders this season. (And they’re certainly not compensating by playing stellar defense.)
Therefore, it’s only natural for people to look around the majors to identify teams that will likely be sellers at the trade deadline and see if they have any outfielders who might provide an upgrade.
