Phillies superstar Bryce Harper will don the red, white and blue this upcoming spring.
Harper will play for the United States national team in the 2026 World Baseball Classic, the slugger announced on his personal Instagram page on Tuesday morning. The two-time National League MVP will participate in the WBC for the first time as he joins his Phillies teammate Kyle Schwarber on Team USA.
“Put the colors on my chest for the 1st time when I was 15,” Harper posted on social media. “No other feeling like it. I’m excited to announce I will be representing Team USA this year in the WBC.
