Following a two-hour rain delay, the Phillies and Braves eventually played a ballgame in Atlanta on Friday night. The Phillies, victors of the 13-0 contest, seemed plenty ready. The Braves, not so much.
Coming off a series in Houston against the Astros in which their offense scored just one run on 15 hits — 14 singles and one double — in three games, the Phillies woke up from their slumber in a big way against the Braves. Their 13 runs were a season-high, and so were their five home runs, two of which came off the bat of Trea Turner.
