Phillies baseball on our televisions vs. another MLB team, it was truly a beautiful sight, folks. It was certainly weird with no fans and artificial crowd noise being pumped into the stadium, but it was absolutely going to be a joy to watch regardless of the outcome. Well, outside of those few minutes where there was a sound malfunction and our eardrums were being pierced.
Zack Wheeler took the bump for the Phils and the number two starter had an interesting start. His stuff looked good but the command wasn’t there at all times, as his pitch count rose above 60 by the end of the third inning.
