LOS ANGELES -- Jake Arrieta helped the Phillies bounce back from an ugly loss with another splendid performance Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium.
Arrieta allowed six hits, two walks and struck out five in seven scoreless innings in a 6-1 victory over the Dodgers. Arrieta did not allow a run in three of five starts in May. He had a 0.90 ERA for the month.
Nick Williams hit a solo homer in the second inning to hand the Phillies a 1-0 lead. The Phillies scored two more in the inning to make it 3-0.
