Ángel Hernández’s umpire scorecard is as bad as you would expect

If you thought that the Philadelphia Phillies — and for that matter, the Milwaukee Brewers — were exaggerating the effect that Ángel Hernández had on Sunday night’s game, there’s now further evidence showing how much the umpire struggled behind the plate.

The authority on such matters, the Twitter account @UmpScorecards, released a rather scathing review of Hernández’s performance on Sunday Night Baseball:

Notably, the most impactful missed call listed is when Kyle Schwarber had a pitch outside the strike zone called as strike three in the bottom of the ninth inning.
