Anderson hits HR, gets 1st win as Rockies beat Phillies 8-3

DENVER -- Tyler Anderson homered and earned his first big league win as the Colorado Rockies beat the Philadelphia Phillies 8-3 Saturday night.

Anderson (1-3) allowed two runs in six innings and struck out six. He singled for his first big league hit and homered for his second.

Tony Wolters hit his first career triple, driving in three runs in Colorado's six-run sixth that gave it an 8-2 lead.

Jordan Lyles allowed one run in three innings for his second career save.

The Rockies have won two of the first three in a four-game set against the Phillies prior to the All-Star break.
