ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Alec Bohm’s return to game action was fairly unremarkable. That wasn’t a problem for the third baseman.

Bohm, who has been on the injured list for the Phillies since July 19 with a fractured left rib, began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday afternoon. He played seven innings in the field and went 0-for-4 in a 9-7 IronPigs loss to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at Coca-Cola Park.

“Everything went good,” Bohm said. “Pretty much no news. No news is good news. Feel good. Felt normal.”

The right-handed hitter grounded out three times and flew out once.
