When Bryce Harper went down in 2022, the called up minor league slugger Darick Hall to help fill the designated hitter role. He did okay, hitting nine home runs in 41 games. With both Harper and Rhys Hoskins injured to start the 2023 season, the team gave Hall a chance to once again step in. This time around, he was far from okay.
