With recent news breaking that former Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Sergei Bobvrosky was not with the Columbus Blue Jackets for their away game against the Nashville Predators on Thursday, immediate trade speculation came to front.
Bobrovsky’s name was already listed 20th on TSN’s Trade Bait List and this only added more fuel to the fire. With the way the Blue Jackets worded the news, it seems like this was more of a suspension than anything else. Columbus might not want that type of behavior in their locker room any longer and could try to get something for him given his possible departure in free agency this offseason.
