Well, folks. That sure was something. The Flyers closed out their back to back last night, and while they were looking to respond well to a tough overtime loss to the Islanders on Monday, the response we got was, well, a little lackluster. The Flyers dropped the first goal of the game but were quickly able to tie things up, and for a moment it looked like they might not get out of hand... but then the Flyers saw their defense falter and suddenly they were in a 4-1 hole. A push in the third period got them back within one goal, but they couldn’t finish that push to tie things up again and force overtime.
