Welcome to Carter Hart’s world

Carter Hart earned his first career shutout in the home opener against the New Jersey Devils.

It doesn’t get much sweeter than that. While the Excellence of Execution will, rightfully, get the majority of the praise for his blanking of Jersey to push the Philadelphia Flyers to their first 2-0-0 start since winning their first three to start the 2011-12 season, this was as complete a team win as I can remember.

Philly’s team defensive effort held the Devils to 25 shots on net, and only 20 through the first 50 minutes of the game.
