The Philadelphia Flyers will have three players representing Team Canada at the IIHF World Championship this month.
This year’s World Championship will be co-hosted by Stockholm, Sweden, and Herning, Denmark. Team Canada is in Group A, which plays in Stockholm, and gets its tournament underway on May 10 against Slovenia.
The championship and third-place games are set for May 25 at Avicii Arena in Stockholm.
Travis Konecny and Travis Sanheim had already been reported as likely to play for Team Canada after also playing at the 4 Nations Face-Off, but Tyson Foerster joining them is a bit of a surprise.
