Tyson Foerster & Tanner Laczynski Out With Injuries, What’s Next For Phantoms?

Lehigh Valley Phantoms General Manager Brett Flahr delivered the blowing news this morning to media that Philadelphia Flyers 2020 1st round pick right winger Tyson Foerster officially suffered a small fracture in his tibia (shinbone) during his professional debut on the Lehigh Valley Phantoms AHL season opener against Hershey on Saturday afternoon.

Foerster, who turned 19 in January, collided with after Hershey Bears player Steve Whitney blew a tire and clipped Foerster’s knee. After the play happened, hockey took a pause for a moment due to Tyson not being able to put any weight on his leg.
