Philadelphia Flyers center Trevor Zegras is just over a week into his first training camp with his new team. And so far, he’s been the life of the practices and making people laugh, smile, or just look confused.
Whether it’s been practicing with Matvei Michkov long after the rest have left the ice, or giving head coach Rick Tocchet his own nickname, Zegras has been a bright spot and a breath of fresh air. Given how gregarious and upbeat Zegras has been so far, it’s almost impossible to think Zegras and former coach John Tortorella in the same area code much less sharing the same locker room and bench.
