The Philadelphia Flyers took a chance on Trevor Zegras, whose career was floundering with the Anaheim Ducks. The hope for the Flyers was that a change of scenery would help, and that they'd get a top scoring forward in return. So far, Zegras has been everything the Flyers have hoped for.
On Tuesday, Zegras had his first chance at revenge against his former team. Zegras had a tremendous performance, scoring two goals in the first period in less than five minutes. Zegras also dished out an assist in Philadelphia's huge 5-2 victory over Anaheim.
After the game, Zegras was interviewed by former Flyers player Scott Hartnell, who asked the forward what it was like to score two goals against the team "that might have given up on [him].
