Following a 4-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings in their last contest, the Philadelphia Flyers will round out this three-game homestand by playing host to a bitter rival in the Pittsburgh Penguins. This will mark the second meeting between the two squads this season, as the Penguins took the first contest by a score of 7-1 back in October in a game I won’t talk about any further. The Flyers will obviously hope to get the W this time around and head into the All-Star break riding a two-game winning streak.
One way they can make sure that happens is if they get another dominant performance out of one of their emerging young players, which is why I’m highlighting Travis Konecny as a player to watch for the Orange and Black tonight.
