* Mark Messier, Nov. 15, 1979: Didn't register a point, but did get into a fight in the third period with John Paddock.
* Mario Lemieux, Oct. 21, 1984: Registered an assist during a 4-2 Flyers win, but was described as "largely invisible" by Daily News beat writer Jay Greenberg.
