And just like that, the day has finally arrived. The first round of the 2025 NHL Draft kicks off tonight, and after what feels like an eternity of lead-up and anticipation, we’re finally going to see some of these pieces begin to fall into place (and the rest, when things open back up for Rounds 2-7 on Saturday).
If you’ve been following along with us around here through most of the spring, you’ve seen us working through our reader-voted Community Draft Board, and profiling a whole lot of this year’s top prospects along the way. While this series normally just runs through the first round and first round only, with the abundance of picks the Flyers are working with this year, we decided to take it farther into the second round.
