It’s getting closer. The Philadelphia Flyers’ season opener is just next week on the 13th against the Pittsburgh Penguins, and the NHL has finally released start times for the 2021 season.
The Flyers’ 56 game schedule features games starting at mostly normal times, with 44 games slated for a 7:00 p.m. EST puck drop. Given the NHL’s scheduling with teams only playing within the same time zone, it makes sense.
