As we’ve come to expect from this series, this game started out quietly on the scoring front, but it wasn’t for lack of chances for either side to get themselves on the board. Indeed, in the first period alone, both Dallas and Vegas each had two power plays to work with, and it was something of a goaltending clinic put on in each of these to keep the game scoreless.
