Slap Shots: Flyers vs Canucks

The Philadelphia Flyers wrapped up their brief home-stand with a Monday night battle against the Vancouver Canucks. Carter Hart got the start in net and was strong, making 16 saves on 17 shots.

Sean Couturier tied things up on a rebound in front of the net. Having gone to overtime or a shootout in 8 of their last 12 games, the Orange and Black were trying to avoid the extra period. Late in regulation, Jake Voracek ripped a one-timer to give the Flyers the eventual game-winning goal. Hart made a save in the last 20 seconds of the game to seal the win.
