Philadelphia Flyers prospect Porter Martone is heading to the Michigan State Spartans, being one of the top players this year to go from the Canadian Hockey League and take the upwards developmental step to play college hockey. And according to one prospect expert, he could have a monster season and write his name in the NCAA record books.
After being one of the best players in the OHL with 37 goals and 98 total points while captaining the Brampton Steelheads, Martone was selected by the Flyers at sixth overall of the 2025 NHL Draft just a few months ago.
