Coming off of a career-high 49 point season for the Philadelphia Flyers in 2018-19, Travis Konecny entered the 2019-20 regular season with some lofty expectations from the fanbase, mostly due to a six-year, 33 million dollar contract he signed at the beginning of Training Camp. The 22-year-old forward met a few of them during the preseason, tying for the team-lead in goals with two in three games. That success has to translate over to games that actually matter, though, and oh boy, has it ever in the first two contests of the campaign.
