Not one player, except for maybe Wayne Simmonds, had a more frustrating 2017-18 campaign in the Philadelphia Flyers organization than defenseman Samuel Morin. The 2013 First Round pick consistently found himself in and out of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms lineup due to injuries and took a knockout punch when he tore his ACL during the Calder Cup Playoffs in May of 2018.
Morin began this past season on Injured Reserve and spent most of the year rehabbing his knee. He, then, was sent to Lehigh Valley for a brief rehab stint with the team in February, playing in two games but registering zero points and five Penalties in Minutes.
