Philadelphia Flyers Re-Sign Travis Konecny To Six Year Contract

After extending defenseman Ivan Provorov for six years last week, the Philadelphia Flyers have taken care of their final Restricted Free Agent. General Manager and Team President Chuck Fletcher announced on Monday afternoon that the team has re-signed winger Travis Konecny to a six-year deal of his own. Philadelphia prefaced this by tweeting out a GIF of the 22-year-old forward on their Twitter account, which set Flyers Twitter ablaze. The contract carries an Average Annual Value (AAV) of 5.5 million dollars per season and leaves the franchise with 1.16 million in cap space per Cap Friendly.
