In non-Travis Konecny news, the Philadelphia Flyers will be without another young forward as Training Camp begins. General Manager and Team President Chuck Fletcher announced that centerman Nolan Patrick will be week-to-week as he deals with an upper-body injury. Sadly, it’s not just a broken heart because his buddy Konecny isn’t at camp, as Fletcher said the team has known about this ailment for a little while now. The Flyers GM also stated that it’s “hard to say” if he’ll be ready at the start of the 2019-20 regular season.
