Mason Millman was the third defensemen taken by the Flyers during the 2019 Draft. Taken 103rd overall, he has the makings of a sleeper pick for the team.
Millman didn’t come in with stats like the two defensemen drafted before him. Those were Cam York and Ronnie Attard. York has lit things up for the USNTDP and Attard had 30 goals as a defensemen.
So behind those two, Millman had a bit to live up to. But as a fourth round pick, the Flyers saw the upside that he could bring to the team.
And he has begun to prove that with the Saginaw Spirit of the OHL.
