Philadelphia Flyers: James van Riemsdyk Puts On A Show vs Germany

After defeating Team Denmark by a lopsided score of 7-1 on Saturday morning, the United States took on a Germany squad looking to rebound from their first loss in the IIHF World Championships tournament. Philadelphia Flyers forward James van Riemsdyk entered the game posting three points (1 Goal, 2 Assists) in five games and did not disappoint against the Germans.

Van Riemsdyk helped get Team USA on the board in the first period after they fell into a 1-0 hole early on a shot from Frederik Tiffels. Arizona Coyotes forward Clayton Keller took a shot from near the top of the circle that JvR was able to get his stick on in front of the Germany goaltender and into the back of the net.
