Philadelphia Flyers Draft Report: Peyton Krebs Suffers Injury

Injuries are, sadly, apart of every sport and the bug has struck a top NHL prospect. Forward Peyton Krebs, who was projected to go anywhere from 8th-to-12th overall in this year’s NHL Entry Draft, has suffered a torn Achilles and will be out at least until training camp. He reportedly tore his Achilles during an offseason training session, where another players’ skate blade cut through his sock on tore his tendon. That’s an absolutely gruesome way to receive an injury, but he underwent successful surgery this past Friday and is expected to make a full recovery.
