In a move that won’t hurt the Philadelphia Flyers moving forward in the offseason, forward Corban Knight has signed a one-year deal with the Barys Nur-Sultan in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Knight seemingly thought that he wouldn’t find a suitable enough contract in the NHL or AHL and opted to play overseas instead.
The 28-year-old centerman posted a mere four points (1 Goal, 3 Assists) in 28 games with the Flyers last year after going on Injured Reserve due to an upper body injury that he suffered in October of 2018.
