About a month ago, Philadelphia Flyers goalie prospect Samuel Ersson unveiled a new mask that he’ll sport for his first full year in the SHL. Created by Dave Gunnarsson, the bucket was tiger-themed and had wet paint running down the surface to serve as the stripes of the tiger. Now, current Flyers netminder Brian Elliott has revealed some new headgear of his own, and it’s yet another masterpiece the journeyman can add to his collection.
The mask, which was designed by Franny Drummond, has a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles concept to it with character Casey Jones being featured on both the right and left sides of the helmet.
