Now that the dust has settled and the 2019 NHL Draft is in the past, it’s time to evaluate each pick Philadelphia Flyers General Manager Chuck Fletcher made on Saturday. Fletcher was pretty active during the first two rounds, making a total of two trades that equated in seven picks during the two day period. He ended up taking three defensemen, three forwards, and one single goaltender with those picks, addressing every position possible to add more depth to the Flyers pipeline.
What I’m taking into account with each pick that Fletcher made is pretty simple; the all-around talent of the prospect and which round he chose them in.
