There’s no denying that Nolan Patrick’s first two NHL seasons have been somewhat disappointing. While he’s shown flashes of brilliance at times, the 20-year-old centerman has scored 30 and 31 points in his rookie and sophomore campaigns for the Philadelphia Flyers, which isn’t exactly what was expected of him following his selection as the second pick in the first round. Consistency’s been an issue for Patrick, as he’s gone through some lengthy point droughts through his time in the NHL and has struggled with injuries at times, too.
With that being said, the 2019-20 season will be an important one for the 6’2, 198-pound forward, which is something that can be applied to other players on the roster and the Flyers team as a whole.
