After a year that certainly tested everyone, Oskar Lindblom and the Flyers have a lot to celebrate.
It was over a year ago that Oskar Lindblom learned of his diagnosis. It was an early December day as the Flyers were on their West Coast trip. They took to the ice that night against Colorado without one of their star young forwards.
It wasn’t much after that when the Flyers officially announced Lindblom’s diagnosis of Ewing’s Sarcoma. He would not be expected to return to action that season.
