Coming off yet another disappointing loss, the Philadelphia Flyers needed to come together as an entire team in order to defeat the Dallas Stars.
Carter Hart received the start in-net and opposed Anthon Khudobin. Khudobin had a 8-7-2 record coming in, with a 2.52 Goals Against Average, and a .924 save percentage. It was key for the Flyers to play a full 60 minute game of hockey and not collapse in the second period like they have for most of this losing streak.
The teams each traded scoring chances to begin the first, but neither could cash in on the opportunities.
