Nolan Patrick gave the Flyers power play a spark in season opener

The Flyers’ season opener was a game to remember for Nolan Patrick. In his first full NHL game since April 1st 2019, the former second overall pick wasn’t just able to play in 14 minutes of ice time, but also scored his first goal since a 5-2 win over the Islanders back in March of 2019. Patrick wasted no time in showing just how much the Flyers had missed him.

Through his first two seasons, the 22-year-old tallied 26 goals and 35 assists. He’s now entering his third season on the third-line alongside Jake Voracek and James Van Riemsdyk.
