Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post (mailbag): A hot start has Philadelphia fans clamoring for more. Not many expect them to bottom out and if they did, then big changes would occur. It becomes more of a question about what the Flyers are looking for.
Most speculate defensemen and goaltending immediately but actually, it may just be general depth. The Metropolitan Division is a brutal division during the second half and injuries are inevitable.
Philadelphia does not want to clear up a ton of cap space. Center depth seems to be the biggest issue for this team and now maybe another winger as well.
